This is my first real project, a well that is eventually going to be part of a medieval, sorta real life, castle. Still learning the basics of modeling, so material, lightning, rendering etc will have to come later. I just want to have your feedback, see what could be improved on the modeling. Ea: the bucket and it's bevels / sybsurface modifiers is something I cannot get straight yet! Thanks in advance!
Looking great. Also it feels like great rigging practice. Making those mechanisms work for reals seems like a cool challenge.
Thank you very much! Making them work sounds like a fun idea, and not one too difficult if it wasn't for the rope. I have no idea how I would make that work. Any hints? (btw, it's currently an Archimedian loop, extended towards the bucket, with some fancy geonode magic I saw on YT and still cannot comprehend 100%)
