You're most welcome! And don't worry, this is one of those things that somehow everyone stumbles over - I did too. But the more you do this, the easier it gets :)
Keep it up!
Hello Lisa, Thank you very much.
Sorry but my English is not very good. but let's go.
Thanks for the tip, you are certain is not the picture distortion. really lower arm is larger, I realized this. I'll make adjustments. I'm still working on the "girl." I put clothes and props as well.
very grateful even for the tip.
Clever
Looking pretty good; good flow in the overall pose and nicely accentuated muscles.
However, one thing seems to be off. The lower arm looks as if it's too long. It may be distortion due to the photo, but in case the lower arm (wrist to elbow) really is longer than the upper arm (elbow to shoulder), then that would be proportionally incorrect.
The humerus of the upper arm is usually a tad longer than the ulna and radius of the lower arm. It is easiest to look at a diagram of a skeleton and even taking a ruler to see how much of a difference there is.
So, in case it's due to photographic distortion please feel free to completely disregard this, but if after measuring you find that indeed the lower arm is longer than the upper arm, you can still go in and correct this before you delve deeper into detailing your figurine!

You obviously built a very proportionate armature! I haven't sculpted anything since college! I'm beginning to become inspired!

I like that you did not exaggerate the female options on this and kept it rather slim and trim...

Once you're happy with your result make sure to post images in the Exercise-Submission area (https://cgcookie.com/exercise/sculpting-a-female-figurine/#submissions) so your work can be graded.
And if you have questions, please feel free to ask, and be sure to post more progress shots of your work, I'd love to see this completed! :)

Looks really well done to me.
Very nice. How tall is it and is she any good with that javelin in her hand?
Impressive!
