An old one I just dug up. Had just watched a movie with a similar-looking cabin and liked the scene. (I can't remember the name but it starred that girl, you know, and that guy that she falls in love with and the other girl that used to be the guy's wife and now she's a ghost and.....). Blender, Cycles render 600 samples, a little tweaking in Photoshop. Not one of my best but it IS one of my favorites.
Modern cabin. They went solar. Panels are in the back. Add a touch of blur and lens distortion and it would look just like a picture. Dusk is just beginning to fall.
Ah, well. Different opinions, I guess. I tried it both ways and liked this one better but maybe I'll rethink it and post another version. Thanks for your input.
the "electric" looking light looks out of place with the rest of the scene... good work on everything else.
