A dragon that was greatly inspired by the Zacharias Reinhardt time lapse of him sculpting a hydra. This is one of the first sculpting projects that have actually turned out well and I am really pretty happy. I still don't like the tongue or the neck though, and the transition between the chin and the teeth looks weird. All of the textures are procedural along with vertex paint, and every thing was made in blender. Any comments or critiques are welcome. Also let me know whether you like the darker image or the lighter one.
@elensanima Thanks for the feedback!
Looks very nice*, how the hell did I even mess that up lol
Kiijs very nice, but I think you should try to get more variation into the bump texture on the scales. Right now it looks too even and uniform. Also, go into your render layers and put a tick into the Ambient Occlusion setting, you can then modify that in your nodes (I assume this is done with Cycles). And you should probably work a bit more on the eyes, try to add some depth to the eyes, right now they look very cartoonish and flat. Try working with an outer sphere that has a transparency layer and add a second sphere where you put the eye colour in it.
Looks great nevertheless. :)
Nice design.
