Dead Cells Final

19 loves

An old project revamp,

Decided to revisit an old project that i did 3 years ago, with fresh eyes and new set of tools.

Tried my best to recreate the cover shot of the game.

Used modeling sculpting and procedural texturing

  • For several seconds, i tough the first picture was the original game cover. Mind-blowing... I would love to see a tut for the shader and compositing one day =)

      Thanks a lot Mateo,

Most of the shaders are pretty straight forward:
Shdaer to rgb + color ramp + scene lighting
and on some materials I mixed it with Ambient Occlusion node to get extra details.
some materials has simple gradient texture.

I am not planning to to do a tutorial any time soon, but if you have any specific you are welcome to contact me.

      Thanks, Glad you like it.
I do not do tutorials, but I can tell you that a lot of my knowledge is based on CG cookie courses,
so you don't need to look far...
