Crystal Maiden Final

Crystal Maiden, from the game Dota 2. Still studying anatomy! I'm still far from where I want to be skill-wise, but I can at least see some improvements over previous attempts at sculpting humans. I definitely bit off more than I could chew with this project though, and ended up spending around 6 weeks on it. A lot of that time was spent on getting the pose right (seriously that dress just would not deform correctly), and the particle systems. I could probably spend another 6 weeks just tweaking stuff but at this point I really just need to move on I think :p Just a tip for anyone else struggling with rigging a character with clothes: what I did here is rig the body itself first, making sure the deformations on that were decent. Then, you transfer over the weights from the body to the clothes and other accessories. I got way better results doing this instead of selecting everything and having blender generate automatic weights, only having to make relatively small tweaks and using corrective shape keys to get an acceptable result. Anyway, I hope you like it!
