Made for the final exercise of the "CORE - Mesh Modelling" course, this is the beginning of my dream loft apartment. Making such a large space proved challenging to populate (how wrong I was to think 30-50 objects would be too many 🤣). This is quite ambitious for a final exercise, but my goal is to continue to populate the area with more modelled objects as time goes on, and eventually implement the other disciplines of CORE as I work through them (lighting / texturing / compositing etc)
Thanks for the appreciation guys! and the feedback is helpful - There will definitely be some changes along the way (stairs/pillars/light fittings to name a few), and I'd like to throw in some more irregular shapes too. My goal is to attempt one CORE module a week, so I had to make some choices to meet that deadline. Absolutely, I'll upload again as each module progresses. Thanks again 🤟
Really well done 😍
And a beautiful presentation!
Awesome!
I would love to see you develop this through CORE. It would be so cool if you could share in the gallery at each stage.
Top job!
That turned out really cool. I'm also curious to see how the scene looks with material.
But I immediately noticed the ceiling lamp in the last two pictures because you used it 7 times.
I would possibly use smaller ones and a different shape in the kitchen area, but if you like it that way, leave it as it is :)
Keep up the good work
Oh that is a dreamy apartment for sure. Maybe add some columns so the top floor has so support, right now it feels kinda floaty. Awesome job 🤘
That's a great idea to combine all skills into one big project! Can't wait to see the end result when you are done with all the CORE courses.
