An old-school computer, modeled during week 2 of the CGC August live class, using Blender 2.8 alpha and the EEVEE rendering engine. Very simple materials, two textures, NURBS paths for the cables, and an HDRi background for lighting (I wanted to turn the image off for the render and just keep the lighting and reflections, but at the time I completed the project I didn't know how to do that in EEVEE yet. I originally intended to add a proper desk and some associated clutter, but ran out of time unfortunately.

I don't see your Commodore 64 model. Maybe it was lost when CG Cookie migrated to Mavenseed. Please put your model here again. I want to see it!
Done! Thanks.
This is a super detailed and realistic looking 3D model👍! Great work 👍, jakeblended !
Wow! tremendous work Jake. There is some pretty intricate modeling going on here. Well done!
Gureat! This render brings back some goood old memories, playing "F18 Interceptor" head-to-head with a rs232 cable against a friend
I keep falling in love with these renders over and over again ❤️
My first computer! Brings me back.
Love it! Very nostalgic.
