Just a few things: the cloth could do with a bit more subdivision. The table would look great with bump mapping.
and you can add a room light (I like to use yellow/orange) to add a bit more life to the scene.
Also you can add a book a pen and some water (okay cancel the water idea, that will take way too long to render!)
