barista station(Nancy) Final

8 loves

I have been barista for almost five years, and recently I left my barista career. so, this was my work station that I worked on every week. so, this was my try of making PBR envierment.

I have used image texture, procedural tenure through out the project. I also learned how to create decals and use it in alpha channel, used procreate to make decals.

over all it was amazing experience specially because it was something that close to to me it was my way to say good bye to my espresso machine which I named Nancy(just for fun) it was intimidating at first but I got there and I learned a lot in the way.

would really appreciate your feedback.

thank you.

  • That is a really awesome barista station, and it's nicely presented too!

I love the tile looking texture of the countertop and sides, and what looks like a little bit of grunge or different grout spacing here and there - that's a really nice touch!

I only have a few questions. It looks like there's a blue glow coming from Nancy. Is that just a weak light bouncing off the blue texture, or did it really have a blue light there?

Is the top wooden drawer glass? It looks like the handle is just floating over a gap there.

I'm not certain what's going on with the left hand metal cabinet door. Is that an opening for garbage? There doesn't seem to be a way to get at the two square cut outs, which I assume are for doors or drawers.

I probably wouldn't have noticed anything except the blue glow, and maybe the floating handle, if you hadn't asked for feedback. I want to emphasize this is a really cool scene!

thank you so much for your feedback.
there is light coming out of Nancy in between the handles, as it one of the feature of this machine.
The drawer is not glass, but the handle is almost in front of the light so I think it's refracting direct light and shadow is on top of the part which is joining with the drawer, I might actually fix that!
the two big cupboard is actually fridge to store milk bottles, and the smaller their one is supposed to be the air vent and temperature control, even I forgot to add extra details in there to make it clear thank you for pointing it out.
      amazing feedback

Your former workspace render looks great Patel. It has a fair amount of detail and feels realistic. Awesome results.

  • Fantastic, so much detail 👍
