I made the rifle in the exercise Model and Texture a First Person Weapon. It was a fun exercise to work on. This image was a personal exercise to try to place it in a realistic environment. Let me know what you think.

To make the rubble I did the following: 1. Use cell fracture to make small rocks from one big one.
2. Apply subdivision modifier
3. Apply displacement modifier
4. For scattering the rubble I used a combination of grease pencil scatter and physics rigid body.

The rifle just doesn't seem to mix with the environment. I really admire your modeling skills, though. How did you make the rubble on the ground?
