This stream is part of week 2 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"
Texturing introduces color to your models but materials make your model appear to be plastic, or wood, or metal, etc. If you're asking yourself "What's the difference", fear not! I will make sure you know the difference by the end of this week.
We will also be exploring the Eevee engine and how it works together with texturing and shading for a realtime workflow.
Class Live Stream Schedule: RSVP to get notified when we go live.

oh ok well sry then just didnt want him to forget you Q
I SHIFT + D the node, there were two nodes, and now changing on changes the other
blanchsb thank you that explains alot
he still going to do some compositing and render
didnt he wrap it up ?
Howdy, cowboy Ben
ketre Ctrl + G groups whereas kent wanted to frame some nodes toether. As far as I understand it, when you group nodes they all collapse into one thing. Whereas framing goes around a 'group' of nodes but they are all still visible. I think of it as 2 different ways of organizing. Grouping is good for really complex setups in my opinion
oh thats for later at the end
How could Bob possibly be a gorilla turtle?
Hey Ben.
