This event is part of the October 2018 Class, "Shading & Lighting with Blender"
Architectural Visualization (Arch Viz) rendering is often a coveted skillset among lighting enthusiasts. This week we're looking at lighting for realism, featuring natural outdoor light from windows and artificial light from light fixtures. We'll also explore the necessary materials for our interior.
Dat baby sounds on the background :D
QUESTION: Do you happen to remember one of your first tutorials, about creating glass shader from scratch, you did a trick to create fake caustics based on Bassam Kurdali
Thank everyone :) I need to sit on that a little :)
Yeah, have to try that one out
pretty cool node setup btw!
(dot product I mean)
That's awesome! ColorRamp is so useful
multiplies the vector coordinates (it short terms). so it turns vector to number.
@Dragonice The other option is HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value). I personaly find that the more artistic way to set your color. It's a easier way to set the intensity of a color then mixing them with RGB.
That's okay, dudette. Took a while for me, too.
