Hard Surface Modeling in the Winter Months
Continuing with the winter theme, this week we're modeling a classic snow sled: The "Flexible Flyer" (more or less). The focus is on hard surface, polygon modeling. We'll be starting from scratch so this means sourcing reference images and generating a modeling sheet in addition to the entire 3D modeling process.
Join us for some fresh Blender 2.8 modeling shenanigans!
nice one Miranda
KENT: ALT+A still works
yyukinoh1989 S for Scale, Y for the Y direction.
I didn't make a tut for it yet but I created it in PBR. There is also Substance Painter/Substance Share that has several amazing weld smart materials.
i'd love to see that weld shading course
I already made one Kent!
S + y ? sorry my english still sucks xD
@medvjed: You could texture it and use a normal map and bump map instead using geometry to get weld marks. OR I would use Substance Painter and paint it on, which looks so amazing!
ctrl+n = new scene/project, like in every other software
i believe thats the reason
ah so you can be aware of how the normals are made
