Hot off the heals of a lit company retreat, we're sitting down for a chat with Jonathan Williamson. As a Blender-training pioneer and celebrity - which he probably hates me saying - you may have noticed that he doesn't make many tutorials anymore. So what's he been up to? Does he do much 3D work these days? What's the future of CG Cookie look like? How's the craft beer brewing?
This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions in the chat! See you there.
thx a lot for the answers (and thx Kent for reminding my name that was perfect) !
Thanks the answer. I argree I can try out different tools.
But never think that your work sucks because of the software you are using
You know, I find that eve though the software is not key for your art, you do learn other approaches and expand your horizons when you use other software, and you see other tools and methods that help you grow
Or what about web CG development
I would love to learn more about how multiplayer interaction and cross-platform use can be built into the games
That was a great analogy!
More abstract things like design and game/art overall production would be nice
I've wanted to create a fundamental programming course that could apply to multiple languages. So seeing support for Python is nice to see.
Cool idea Jonathan Gonzalez :)
