A random project, perhaps, but it's a fun one nonetheless! Using curves and procedural thread materials we can achieve a high-fidelity result without too much work or time. Just think of all the patches and embroidery you can add to your characters! ;)

ssmurfmier1985 that's a good question. I've used black-and-white SVG images to make meshes before, but never color ones.
I'm kinda glad I switched to lefy click in 2.7, so switching to 2.8 will be easier
