Because I think the stitching is fun to make..
A random project, perhaps, but it's a fun one nonetheless! Using curves and procedural thread materials we can achieve a high-fidelity result without too much work or time. Just think of all the patches and embroidery you can add to your characters! ;)
Damn I love Remesh already.
thats a nice result for remesh.. :) my results are messier most of the time
Easy-button retopo.
to convert an image to mesh I use inkscape/Path/Bitmap redraw (or something)... that convert it to curves. Save as svg and import to Blender, and finally convert to mesh
Oh nice trick, not dissolve the vertex
Well, hot dog, Christina lol
I convert them to svg in Illustrator, import the svg in blender, that are curves which you can convert to mesh.
I feel like there is something like that, Miranda, but not sure where it would be or what software.
You can always play with the curves in photoshop or equivalent.. then convert it in illustrator or equivalent. But if the shape is not too complex its probably faster to do it by hand and the result will be cleaner
Skynet will be able to do it
