This event is part of the March 2018 Class, "Creating Stylized Characters with Blender".
The story plays a big part in stylization. Not necessarily ‘narrative’ but background, personality, and purpose. The success of a character is strengthened by its developmental arc. The best artists create characters that are more than the sum of their pixels; more than the sum of its brush strokes and polygons; more than their final render.
This stream we'll discuss writing a story/background for our character. Also we will commence sculpting our chosen characters.
First time here and already love the community :D
I think the perspective from the artwork is tricky because it looks like he's drawing his sword and in the 3D pose the right arm is going a little too far to draw a sword, i think
Thanks for saying that Kent
I love it when the live streams are longer. Because I make Tuesday free anyway to work on the project after the live stream. So the longer they are the more I get out of it, its also fun
tthoefer I like zbrush mainly because I don't have to mess with the annoying detail size and different modes like subdivide edges. You just brush away and recalc the dynotopo once in a while.
It's my first live stream and I love the fact that I can ask questions !!
I can confirm you Kent that I am learning a lot! Very cool, really!!!
Jere, you are an enduro live stream watcher aren't you.
Wow.. yea a two hour movie but bette
Cheers, Liviu!
