    I think the perspective from the artwork is tricky because it looks like he's drawing his sword and in the 3D pose the right arm is going a little too far to draw a sword, i think

    I love it when the live streams are longer. Because I make Tuesday free anyway to work on the project after the live stream. So the longer they are the more I get out of it, its also fun

    tthoefer I like zbrush mainly because I don't have to mess with the annoying detail size and different modes like subdivide edges. You just brush away and recalc the dynotopo once in a while.

This event is part of the March 2018 Class, "Creating Stylized Characters with Blender".

The story plays a big part in stylization. Not necessarily ‘narrative’ but background, personality, and purpose. The success of a character is strengthened by its developmental arc. The best artists create characters that are more than the sum of their pixels; more than the sum of its brush strokes and polygons; more than their final render.

This stream we'll discuss writing a story/background for our character. Also we will commence sculpting our chosen characters.
