This event is part of the January 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender".
There’s still much more to learn about modeling with Blender! Remember, it’s a craft. Time + practice is the only way to develop your modeling skills. In today's stream we'll discuss the journey of becoming a skilled modeler as well as the potential for turning it into a career.
As the final Live Event for the class, I’m going to sift through homework submissions to commend my favorites and offer critiques!
Awesome!
"Modeling Video Game Assets in Blender" is a good follow up course and covers UV mapping, retopology.
With the different versions of Dyntopo through the years, has the tool become more or less difficult/complicated to use?
ahh literally stepped away when you answered! I will check the vod tomorrow haha
Who's the best sculptor in blender that you know of?
I know it would be considered next steps, but I am struggling getting over the mental hurdle of next steps after sculpting. Like uv, texture/paint etc. Just cant grasp on to those lessons. It seems like there are a lot of ways of tackling that part and its hard for me to find a basic workflow after sculpting.
That's the Numpad . BTW.
That 's good to know!
Yes! I use the . all the time!
That is a huge tip. Many thanks!
