Seeing your 3D objects come to life is really satisfying. In this lesson, I’ll walk you through the basics of Blender’s animation system by focusing on Keyframes and curves.
To animate any property of an object, we just need to tell Blender what the value should be at a particular point in time using a keyframe. Keyframes define the important parts of your animation and Blender will do all the in-between work of interpolation for you. The hotkey to remember for setting keyframes is 'I'. You can see all your keyframes for anamatable properties in your dopesheet, as well as your curve editor.
