Introduction to Grease Pencil

Blender also has a 2D animation system which is accessed through the Grease Pencil object type. While the object is still 3D, the way you draw and set keyframes is much more similar to a 2D program like Adobe Illustrator or Toon Boom. In this lesson, we explore the Grease Pencil's Draw Mode and how - along with modifiers - we can make a simple cartoon style animation.

If you want to learn more about Grease Pencil, I created a FREE Course called DRAW!

Small caveat - DRAW! Was created right before Grease Pencil's Major Glow-up, but I'd be happy to answer any questions in how to adapt methods for newer versions of Blender in the lesson comments.
