If you want to enter an exact value in cm or mm to move while in meters, you need to enter Advanced Mode.

To add the Human rig, you will need to enable the Rigify Addon in Blender's user preferences.

If you don't see the reference images in the Starter .blend file, open the "blender_mmb_house_source-files" folder and add the 2 .jpg images to a new folder called, References
