How to stop the brush from changing size with zooming?

I'm trying to add details to my bump texture, but as soon as I change the zoom on my model, the brush size will change accordingly making a mess of my work. How am I supposed to deal with that in Blender 2.8?

Looking for a solution, I read about the Texture Mapping that needs to be switched from Tiled to 3D, but I see no difference after the change.

I'm not sure I understand the issue...Blender's texture brush size is relative to the screen rather than the zoom-level of the 3D model. But I don't find this to be a problem, just how it has always worked.

Perhaps it's just a matter of getting used to it?

If you could record a screen capture of the issue in action that'd be ideal. OBS for screen recording, upload to youtube and embed the link here.

I hoped that there was a way to change that. If I set the brush to have a 9px radius, I would expect it to be like that whether I'm zoomed in on a detail or zoomed out to check the whole model. Guess I'll just have to get used to it :)

eireen if you paint in the Image Editor, the brush is in pixels of the image, not of the screen, so it will react as you expect.

In the 3D Viewport, you are painting on an object and that object is not made of pixels, only the screen you are watching it on is made of pixels.

In the future, with Sculpt Vertex Colors, you will be able to get this brush behavior in the Viewport...

Thanks for the info, I will try that!
