Advice finding info re: older tools from 2.7 to 2.8

So, yesterday after watching a video in the  "Modeling in Blender 2.7" Learning Flow, I spent the better part of a half-hour, searching for the Remove Doubles tool when sliding an edge or vertices only to discover Blender renamed it Merge Vertices by Distance in 2.8.

Is there a website where these changes are published? Any ideas? I like the videos in the aforementioned Learning Flow, but I find that I spend a lot of my time searching for the special tools shown in 2.7 in 2.8 and many times to no avail...

Thanks!

    This one is very good:

although some things have changed already since then.

For specifics: ask here. Mention the version you are using when you do.

I am actually watching that series now. For some reason, I totally skipped over it. I dunno, maybe if I would have watched it, I wouldn't have spent the time searching for the Remove Doubles tool... No time wasted only spent researching, which takes me away from modeling...

So, here's another question for you, Spikeyxxx - what do you think about CGC's learning flows? They say that they're "a collection of hand picked content presented in a linear curriculum," but I wonder if the training is well rounded enough. I feel like I am sort of bouncing around from one topic to the next.

I guess I'm too old school and like structure too much, I dunno... I only want to learn CG and 3D using Blender as thoroughly as possible. I realize that I CGC can't cover everything. They try to.

    Thanks!

they are way more structured than bouncing around youtube trying to find good tuts!!

    I don't doubt that.
