🤣 Look at them Boyd's!

I lived out East in CT for a while and the Boston accents are super strong like that. People also use another familiar bird sound "Kah!" to describe a common vehicle with 4 wheels.

"Get out the Kah!" or "My Kah is out of gas"

Man I was 4 hours late to this stream but I still really enjoyed it. Thanks @jlampel for doing the hard work for me so I could watch and laugh.

Although the name for the  "Boids"  particles stands for "bird-oid object" (= bird-like object), it's incidentally also a New York Metropolitan dialect pronounciation for "bird". So, maybe you invent a new particle type and call is "Kah" 😁!

    I found this:

Sounds correct to me, but there is so much (mis-)information on the internet, that it's often hard to tell what's right;)

spikeyxxx I've found my informations here in the Blender 2.79 manual. But there's also a lot of nonsens written in this manual and some things a very outdated like the description of texture mapping in Blender Internal Render here that refers to the user interface of Blender 2.49 here  (button block in the lower left corner)🤣!

So, you're right with your statement that you often can't tell what's the truth. An official explanation can be added later in order to make it sound more serious or a popular explanation can be added later because the scientific explanation is too abstract and hard to remember.
