Hi,
After failling to unwrapp my personal version of the treasure chest, I noticed that my topology is too bad, my knowledge too limited and that I need to level up on it before moving further in texturing/painting etc.
So I tried to push myself a lot on modeling this week by following older learning worflow with 2.7.
I'm currently at the chapter 4 with the cartoon head from the modeling bootcamp but I just notice I skipped the retopology course above.
Should I do it before to move on the modeling bootcamp?
Will it make easier to make the cartoon head, revolver and husky puppy ? (they look really challenging)
Here all my submissions of the week :

And to relax from modeling I also looked at older lighting/shading course:

I think that it is ok to continue with your modeling bootcamp adventure. You learn by doing and that's the best way to learn.
Plus, if chose to take that retopology course after modeling -- that would be much easier to understand the subject.
Or -- just maybe -- you should do some unwrapping instead?)
Thanks for your answer Michael :)
So I'm going to continue the bootcamp, do to the retopology and go back to unwrapping / texturing.
