Brushes in 2.8. Clone tool and bleed

Hi! I'm trying to use the clone tool like suggested and, first of all, I can't switch to the clone tool unless I go into the Properties and Active Tool and Workspace Settings (see below). If I change Image Paint Tool to clone then I can't select the Draw brush in my T-tools anymore, and have to switch back in the properties. Any way to switch which is a little smoother? Once in clone tool I can't figure out how to place the cursor/clone-from-here pin either...

Lastly, where has the bleed setting gone? I noticed you changed this during the timelapse.

Hi Eirik, I would just select the Clone Brush from the Toolbar (you don't need the Draw Brush when cloning).

Place the 3D Cursor with CTRL+LMB and then the Clone Brush will paint the area around the 3d Cursor.

The Bleed is now hidden under Options:

Pancake is already looking good btw!

Hey, after restarting Blender I could switch between the regular brush and clone fine. I'm not sure if I hit some random hotkey by mistake to lock it to either the brush or the clone tool... To get it to sample I had to uncheck the "Clone from paint slot", which was on by default :)

Thanks for showing me the bleed option!

Clone from Paint Slot is not on by default.
