To learn while you continue to make 2.8 content, I'm willing to figure out 2.79b at the same time, but its impossible to learn something that isn't working. I've been stuck setting up this the bouncing ball for 3 hours trying to fix whatever the error is in the python code on line 5 and the constricted z axis which is just changing the y axis values on the object in the N pannel. It just really feels like I missed something that was covered in a FoA 2.7x.
Definitely grateful for the new 2.8 stuff, but the corona outbreak and forced unemployment has got me feel'in like this guy.
Hi Nomadmusk
All the concepts in the Animation Bootcamp are the same for 2.8x as 2.7x
The only difference is some of the UI and button changes.
There are, however, updated 2.8x files that accompany that course already (check the downloads that come with the course)
With those files and what you have learned in the FoA 2.8x, you should be able to cope with those changes.
There is also a little overlap in content at the moment which should feel really familiar.
If you are having specific troubles, feel free to ask a question on the relevant section.
@waylow I've finished FoA, which course would be a continuation to it: Character Animation Toolkit or Animation Bootcamp. Also Do i need to learn rigging before going into either course or it's not necessary
