My smoke spreader works when I render one png.
But when I rendered the animation last night as a sequence of pngs so I could edit it a little bit in Premiere Pro, the smoke spreader doesn't work:
Here's the blender file (apologies if I didn't share it correctly this is my first time trying to share one):
Thanks so much for any help!
Hi tristanross, you accidentally uploaded your .blend1 file. We need the .blend file.
We've had a (maybe) similar problem here on the Forum once, where a single frame rendered differently from the image sequence.
Hopefully your problem is something easier..
Hey spikey, thanks so much for replying!! Sorry about that .blend1 file, I just changed it to the .blend file.
Thank you so so so much for your time! You're awesome dude.
Hey tristanross, it's strange and I'm not sure what exactly is happening here, but try baking the particle simulation:
I've tested it with less samples and smaller resolution and rendered a sequence of 30 frames and with baking it gave the proper result.
Without baking it was messed up.
Make sure you are on Frame 1 when baking.
I hope this works for you.
Looks like it works! Thank you so much spikey! I will do a full resolution render tonight and see how it goes.
It worked! Thanks so much! I uploaded mine to the gallery. Wouldn't have been able to without your help. You're a legend.
