Hey guys, I'm having a hard time connecting the tail bone with the spine(original bone). I tried to follow the video because I was struggling. I duplicated the spine bone, selected active element and rotated its bone to make the tail bone. However, when I move the tail bone in pose it appears detached from the spine bone. It becoming a real pain lol please grant me some insight.Let me know if I'm not being too vague.
to be connected bones have to be parented to the bones you want them to be connected to...
the pic shows the bones you are working with but it doesn't include the info of parenting...
maybe you could post the blend file, that would let someone help tell you specific things to do...
right now I'm only guessing by what it looks like
jjahaura If you could provide your .blend file as Mark mentioned and / or a video clip of how your bone functions currently, that'd be great to help you get this solved! BTW the best way to share a .blend file is by copying and pasting a download link via dropbox, google drive, or equivalent file hosting service.

I hope I shared it correctly.
jjahaura thanks for the file, you shared it correctly 👍
However the tail portion of the rig isn't the same state as the initial screenshot. But I can say that technically it's not a problem that the tail bone can be moved away from the rest of the rig. I can't remember if that was possible or not in my original file, but the rig can still function fine with that ability.
As far as the current state of the .blend you shared, you're in good position to complete the tail rigging portion of the video. Was there something else besides the detachment ability that threw you off?
