Why aren't the waves rendering in my simulation?

I’m hoping this is some noob mistake and not something wrong with my system or blender. I have a very basic physics simulation going on, and it renders just fine in realtime, but it doesn’t render at all when I go to render it. It’s a simple waves simulation, and I have a box animated going up and down to trigger the waves. In realtime view, I can see the waves just fine and I took a screen cap of it, but when I go to render it, the box is being animated, but there are no waves. If it makes any difference I'm animating it with a driver Addon called "AudVis"

I would very much appreciate any insight into this!

I think you have to "bake" a simulation in order to render it... you can view it in real time but there is nothing to render unless the sim is baked...

hope this helps you with what to look for

That did the trick! Thank you!Â
