Version 2.81a. Preference = Left selection not applying. Can only select with right. Ctrl + mouse scroll and Shift + mouse roll not working. Can scroll only in and out. I have tripped a switch somewhere and can't find what it is. Tried 2 different mice, but same problems. Uninstalled and reinstalled Blender, same problems. Can you help?
Yes. They are now giving 2.81a. I couldn't find straight 2.8. Windows 10. Yes, I tried loading factory preferences. No go with either the selection preference or the mouse operations. It is a bit awkward to have to select Ctrl + numpad value to move up and down. I didn't try shutting off my computer and restarting. I am going to do that now...my fingers are crossed.
Preferences problem fixed after restart. Mouse thing is still non-working and frustrating. Oh well. Now I doubt that it is Blender. Many thanks.
