I seem to only be able to add a keyframe for rotation, location and scale. When I want to add one for the margin or the speed it's not working. How do I make it record the change in speed if I can't add a keyframe? I'm using v 2.18
never mind I found how to change the speed and margin. There is a tiny dot that you can click to the right of the word 'speed' and then you can change the keyframe (the dot turns into a diamond shape), same for margin.
