Polybook - Jay Padhya

Hello everyone !!! I did not showcase my work online that much. I decided to start my polybook which I should have done long time ago. I also have some very old work which I never published online.  I am going to convert / update them from 3ds max to Blender. I would love to hear everyone's comments and suggestions to improve my work.

    Currently I am practicing Archviz.

That looks great!  I have some constructive criticism for you:

The couches are to shiny and don't look "fabric-y" enough.

The walls and ceiling don't have enough detail.

The plant looks kind of like it's made of plastic.

However, it is great overall. I'm impressed.

Thank  you for your input. I will  try to improve it and make it more realistic.

Great to see another Polybook :)

Great work , I agree with what William says , perhaps a light or ceiling fan hanging down would add some interest to the upper half of the render?

    Looks great.

What's going with the windows? The patterned dark splotches look either like the windows are dirty, but the pattern is too even, or that I'm seeing windows of other buildings in the distance, but the photographer blew out the shot by over exposing. I would either properly expose the outside, or remove the detail altogether and let them just be pure white emissive windows.

Then I would track the camera right and pan left to move the wall juncture to the right third, rather than the center. And move the plant and coffee table off that line; although the track and pan will likely take care of both.

There should be more space between the pictures on camera left. And on camera right, but it's tolerable.

You've got to fix that rug.  Yes, you made a realistic looking rug, good job. but if you gave this to an archviz client, the bump in the middle and turned up flap will drive OCD people nuts.

Finally, your right couch seat cushions are different greys. You need a new interior designer/upholsterer. ;)
