Missing principal hair bsdf in 2.8

Question

Downloaded 2.8 and works fine till I tried for the Principle Hair BSDF.... not in the selection list and I tried support and experimental. anyone else having this problem?

Ok....so weird.... downloaded twice the latest 2.8 and finally got PHS available but now it works in Cycles but not EEVEE... bug?

Got it working after two downloads and rebuilds...posted pics above as not working in EEVEE but cycles ok

ffxswan Yes, the Principled Hair only works in Cycles. It doesn't even show up, when you first set the render engine to Eevee and then search for it...

ffxswan It’s not a bug. Eevee is essentially a Game Engine, and some things just don’t work with the real-time calculations of such a system.
