Go ahead and grade this one Kent. (How do I take out the noise from the render?)
I like how nothing on your sword is straight. It's got a nice lo-poly hand-made feel to it. Even primitive or ancient feel to it. Like an Aztec sword or something. But I can't stop craving a Reese's peanut butter cup when I look at the pommel 😅
Texture-wise I don't see any edge highlighting and crevice darkening. Adding that would do a lot for accentuation the shapes of the model. Also I recommend varying the color tones, where no color is simply a solid singular color but comprised of subtle tonal changes. Like in this example (solids on the left, painterly tones on the right):
How do I take out the noise from the render?
I don't really see noise in the render. but I do see pixelation in the edges:
This usually only happens if you're render resolution is really small and your enlarging / zooming in on the image. What's your render resolutions and % value in your output settings?
I will check the render resolution. On a side note I can't get blender to work on my 86x machine. Is it just me or is it only for 64bit computers (processor?)
