Hello everyone! Yesterday I downloaded the latest version of blender 2.80.70 and I can't find the option that removes double vertices. Does anyone know where is it now?
It's under the merge vertices menu now. Press alt+m (or ctrl+v > "Merge Vertices") and select "By Distance"
@drgnclw Thank you very much! Don't know if I'm happy with the choice they made...
korneisgibnev098 Hi to remove doubles . Be in edit mode press ctrl v almost at bottom of menu displayed is remove doubles . A box appears at bottom left of screen where you can adjust distance of vertices.
korneisgibnev098 I think the new name makes more sense, but I did like its old position in the right-click menu. Now you need to go to a submenu afaik, which is a bit slower.
ssmurfmier1985 True, but I've lost my quick favourites numerous times now when I go to grab a new daily build. I'm not sure how to save them permanently. I tried saving preferences / saving startup file but it didn't always carry over. I'll use it more after the full release.
numbernine Yeah same with me - unless I'm playing with a specific new feature, I tend to just keep by 2.8 builds on "factory" settings and won't mess around with themes, making Q menus, or customizing settings and layouts until it's official. Word is, there's only a couple of months to go...
I also haven't been a fan of every decision the dev team has made. Still, I've been able to adapt to pretty much all the changes relatively quickly as they come.
