I'm working on a character modeling project but i have run in to problems during rigging.
I can do very careful deformations and get satisfying results, but i struggle to get the clothes right. I'm looking for advice on how to solve this. The main problem areas are the sailor collar and skirt. I have tried armature deformation that lead to clipping, bad deformation and weight painting headache. And cloth simulation that ran at an unbearable 2 fps. What would be a good solution to this?
Is the model built in a way that makes good deformation difficult or am i just incompetent?
I have done the rigging introduction course and exercise. I hope this post isn't out of place, I couldn't find any detailed guidelines for this forum. General feedback is appreciated as well.
Info & pictures:
1. Good deformation
2. Bad deformation - Armature
3. Rig (Work in progress i don't want to invest more time and effort if i can't make it deform well)

As far as I know, the best option is baking the cloth simulation (in the cloth physics under Cache, there is a baking option).
