Hello everyone
Before I get going in creating, I would like some clarification please on copyright. For example, if I were to create a 3D model of a Star Destroyer from Star Wars for my own personal use, any issues with copyright?
What about creating a model of a tangible object, i.e.: a Saturn V rocket or Falcon Heavy, any issues there?
Thanks
Your question is difficult at best to answer with authority, and is laden with heavy responsibilities.
I suggest you start by reading up on the Fair Use Act.

Obviously, we all know people profit off of "fan art" without any consent from the original creators. It would take very little searching the Web to find rather heated debates over the ethics of such a practice. I do not believe they are worth repeating here.
It's really going to be up to you how you will treat fan art.
We had a stream recently on some of this info regarding fair use of copyrighted materials.
