Hi, I am creating this topic to upload my work. I have been working on this for 2 weeks probably. So yeah I am gonna be posting my next progress here.
#mycookiepumpkin
Nice to hear that. Do you have already a wip to show? I am kinda curious
I have sculpted them in really high res. They are using like 5 gb of my memory. So now, I have to bake their normals. Actually I have baked the left guy's normal and textured it today.
Here's how they look.
Here I did a render
I am thinking to add a tree on his head instead of the thing what it called I don't know. And also I have to think of a story for them
mmahir07 I'm just gonna say, I think we have a winner here... That is so awesome! HOW did you come up with this? I'm, well, simply astounded!
mmahir07 wow this is great . i really love how it turned out . those effects are amazing.
can i ask to show the one without bake on ? thats what happens right ? add a bake onto low res model ?
also somehow that texturing looks pretty simple but then that render . Just wow . could you share how you did this after class and the contest ?
mmahir07 Nice work Mahir! You keep getting better 😄 I love all the different looks and expressions 😍
yyukinoh1989 Thank you Yukino! Here is the low poly model that I made using Decimate modifier from the high poly sculpture. And Here's the sculpture with probably 3 millions verts. And yeah of course I'd be happy to share it. I just tried everything that I learned like noise texture, musgrave texture. Then I was surprised by the result as well xD. And also I am using film color mode I think this color mode made it look awesome. :D
ssmurfmier1985 Thank you Marinda! I have seen your work that's awesome, you are getting better too.
This artwork was my inspiration check this out. https://blenderartists.org/t/halloween-stuff/1129934
@cgcookiedough Well, I'd say total 20-25 hours probably. I mean I didn't really calculate it. But total around 20-25 hours I guess.
mmahir07 Wow! I'm not sure if it's the idea or the skill level or a bit of both, but you seem to be like 100 levels higher then I am :)
@cgcookiedough Nah xD it's really simple. You can do anything you want it's really simple.
Today I textured this guy. Here's how it looks xD
And I realized I don't have to sculpt with high details. I can just add those details with texture paint xD
mmahir07 I like the first on you showed the most. I think it's because the blood is coming from somewhere, like the eyes or the mouth. It seems a bit too random on the other ones. On the one eyed one, it looks like pepperoni on its eye. Maybe try having there be cuts where the blood is instead of it just being on there. Also try making the eyes be dark like the first one.
