bun-bun Your lighting match is pretty close on the yellow light, maybe a touch too saturated.  The hue looks pretty dead on.  The greenish light is too saturated and I think too intense of a light; it needs to be softer.  It looks like both of your lights are producing hard shadows so increasing the size should help to make softer shadows.  Good attempt.

Your car looks pretty sweet.  Nice shaders all around.  Good work.

@theluthier Nearlly missed your question - I am sorry!
I am using the Studio Small 06 HDRI from HDRI Haven, but it's only providing some fill lighting for the whole scene.
My main sources of light are two area lights (orange and blue) and one sport light (white) with some additional lighting to fill the gaps.

bun-bun Very nice work this week. A few notes on the light match:

    1. Colors: Here's some corresponding key colors that are different:
    2. Shadow contrast: I get a general impression that the shadows are darker in the source, most noticeably below the chin. Also in the same area, the shadows are sharper than in the source.

Still really close: It's a B on this first part.

Two words come to mind when I see your vehicle render: Sharp and Crisp. Now I mean that both positively but also as a slight criticism. Positively, your sharp render is bold and makes a strong statement. Values are varied and extreme: Dark blacks and bright whites. Critically, the sharpness looks unrealistically too perfect. Though I know with vehicles and product imagery it's often desirable to be perfect. I personally try to avoid perfection because I see it as an enemy to realism and believability.

Overall it's a fine render and my criticism is arguably into subjective territory. It's an A in my book.

bun-bun Wow! This a really impressive car render. The reflections and lighting look great! The specular highlights being picked up on the contours looks really slick too. Great job!
