Hey kkiller-wolf , I can't replicate this on my end in Firefox. If you experience site issues, please contact [email protected] so we can sort it out. Thanks!
kkiller-wolf it's not Firefox since I use it too and don't have that problem. But it does look strange I wonder what is causing it
kkiller-wolf looks like your browser is unable to download stylesheet files. Tried to clear browser cache and cookies?
This happens to me periodically using Google Chrome, too. I've always attributed it to a slow response from the server. Usually, refreshing the page has fixed it for me.
However, if you're getting it every time you go to the site, even when you refresh the page, there may be something else going on. If nekronavt 's suggestion of clearing the cache and cookies doesn't work, take a look at any browser extensions you may have installed. Sometimes, they interfere in unexpected ways. Turn them all off and then re-enable them one at a time to see if one of them proves to be the conflict. If that doesn't work... I wouldn't know what else to suggest. \
Good luck.
EDIT: Just got a lightning-quick reply from Dennis at CG Cookie Support. Basically, Firefox has been known to break certain legitimate sites due to some overzealous privacy protection policies.
Unfortunately for myself, I just tried to disable privacy protection, disable all my add-ons, clear all data, and try again. Still nothin'. YMMV tho.
In the meantime, it seems plenty of browsers still work just fine, so maybe in the next Firefox update it'll fix itself? Hard to say, and really hard to pin down.
Reaching out to Mozilla about this is always an option. Maybe it'll help them fix other site display issues too?
...now if only Brave browser had sexy themes and a dark mode. . .
Many kudos to Dennis for his insights. He's an awesome guy. :)
Hey kkiller-wolf , you're definitely not alone! I had the same issue happen with me, also using Firefox. Sure, I use NoScript and AdBlock and such, but I made sure to whitelist CGCookie in all of those. But everything still worked fine until now.
Just in case, I disabled all my add-ons, cleared all the browser data, even restarted my machine because hey why not, but no dice.
Site loads just fine in Brave browser, which also has tons of privacy and other blockers built in.
Totally stumped as well, and I'm far from being a web-dev, so I sent a ticket to [email protected] as @jlampel suggested. :)
Update:
Here I am on Firefox and today it works. I don't get it one bit. lol
All I can gather from this is "Have a backup browser you like ready just in case."
