Hey guys,
I'm currently working on a 3d model, but I ran into a problem I do not know how to solve. I have made a simple example to show what I mean. As you can see, the beveled edges result in very ugly glitches when I add a solidify modifier. I've tried recalculating the normals and removing doubles and possible ugly geometry, but it didn't work. I would really appreciate it if someone could give some suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
PS: it looks like I have an ngon on the angle on the corner, but it is just 2 quads that look as one by the wire view in object mode.
if you're inferring there's an issue w/ your model or the Solidify, it doesn't look like it to me - the issue is you're asking the Solidify to produce a thickness that's too thick for the curve you've modelled.
Thank you for your reply! Changing the clamp calue didn't help in this case, unfortunately, so I will just do it manually, like you said :).
