Sculpt training

Hi ,

im not that old in cg cookie i watched some sculpting course .. well actually two im on my way :)

i tried to put what i learnt in this sculpt i made , but i dont know why when i render it , it becomes so smooth ?

i dont know should i sculpt some more or just leave it and when texturing the magic will appear ?

and if you guys have any tips ill be glad to hear them :)

apparently i need a lot of practice , specially the hand and the sculpting tool and skin modifier ./

i just had to start at some point :)

Looks like you're off to a good start, keep up the practice! The render looks smoother than the viewport due to the flat lighting. Try adding another lamp aimed towards the side to pop those knots out.

Your scukpt is nicely contrasted in the geometry.
It's not fantastic but honestly your heading the right way.

Sculpting is about training, you will soon know how to use the tools but getting good at sculpting is only about commitment.

Stay motivated, work on short project first and then a bigger one.
