Fluid Simulation

does anyone know if there is away to get around the single domain limitation?

    I've tried a couple different ways but haven't found a solution yet, so there's no way around it as far as I know. The fluid sim is certainly showing its age and is in need of an upgrade, which I think is in progress but is going pretty slowly.

    Thanks Jonathan....looks like I will just continue making a fluid waterfall solid object then allow particles to flow over it giving the illusion of water movement....
