Hey, ya'll! Djwaglmuffin here.
I'm trying to pull my artistic skills up so I can finally bring my stories to life. Comics and video games are the way I'm probably going to express these stories as I can do them by myself so I really need to round myself out as an "every sort of artist". Any ideas are appreciated and critiques are welcome.
Job goals:
If you're looking at this and see potential in my work for employment, please know I belong in any job function that requires ideas or creative solutions to a story or character. Having the ability to draw only reinforces that as I can sit there and sketch what I might be thinking to SHOW instead of tell and hope someone is able to figure out what I'm thinking. Video games is a perfect fit for me and I hope I can do that someday as well as produce my own original content.
I had a sketchbook up already on the pre-update forum but...okay. Here we go:
This is a value study for the current piece I am working on. I've been trying to follow along with some tutorials on clipping masks. I'm still fuzzy on a lot of stuff and I'm thinking painting may not be for me in the long run...despite how hard I try but I still want to learn it.

This is a practice piece I blew up last night. Was originally a face study and then I just kept adding to it and I was so damn proud of Genji and fee-handed Hanzo's tat. I was excited for this.
Some gesture studies.
High kicking Genji is my new favorite animal. Also: my personal headcanon for him is that he knows some Kung Fu/is a well rounded martial artist.
Been working hard on this.
Huge exercise in natural and artificial lighting. I think it's going relatively well considering my skill level...there's some tweaking but...should be done in a few days.
