I was over zealous and separated all the planks on the top of my chest before I got to the part where you keep them together. I hit undo a bunch and got back, but now I wonder if there's a way of joining them again after they're separated?
hi-
1. select all the objects you want to join in object mode
2. under the object tab use the join (J)
3. now they are all one object again
4. you may have to reset the origin , also under the object tab
