A little help about something !!

Question

In edge connected through chin at 6:04 , i wondered why we couldn't make the following shapes ?!!!
is it wrong ?!

That looks like it works too, great job! It creates a six sided pole though, so just be careful of any pinching in that area.

so maybe i solved the six sided pole ?!
by adding a horizontal line at the rectangle of the bottom lip !!!

I tried to keep it at less poles as possible as i've found my approach is going to give 7 sided pole if i continued but i tried to keep it at less as possible and i've got 6 sided pole at the end.
