WOW! It's amazing working flows! So powerful modifiers in Blender! It's like a parameterized modeling, you know, I ever used rhino to build a surface of an Architecture like this , it used a Plug-in called Grasshopper. The Plug-in uses many nodes to control the changes( may be you can put some Mathematical logic in it) and build some fantastic things. It looks like chaotic but really under control. What I want to ask a little is: do we have some similar Plug-ins like this in blender? I'm an Architecture student. It can help me lot to make a design. Thank you very much!
I'm really glad the first two [non]questions expressed amazement at Midge's workflow and the power of modifier-based modeling. Because that's exactly how I reacted when I watched! It so exciting to imagine the endless possibilities with this approach.
I'm not familiar with Rhino or Grasshopper but I know the Blender devs are currently working on a project called "Everything Nodes" which is an effort to generate everything in Blender with the node graph, including animation, modeling, physics, etc. I imagine such a feature could parametrically build all kinds of things for architecture and beyond.
You could try Animation Nodes, but the learning curve is pretty steep. That being said, check out Archipack and Archimesh in the Blender addon respository, they offer tools to quickly generate common models you might find in an archviz scene.
The closest, and with the obvious homage nod [to Grasshopper] in the name itself, is SVERCHOK.
