with 2.8 coming out it feels like blender is leaning toward unreal engine... from all the demos I've seen this far. well it have a impact on unity... As a blender begianer this has cross my mind a few times..
I'm not sure what you mean by that. I haven't heard anything in regards to Blender being geared towards any game engine. Blender 2.8 does use EVEE which is similar to how game engines would render lighting an post processing effects but that's about as far as it would go.
